Perform Window Tools
Drag and drop an operator onto the toolbar button to make it the Window
Operator of the /perform Window, with no trip into the Window COMP's
parameters. Left-click opens the perform window, and closes it again if it
is open. Right-click opens the configuration popup, which also has the
switches for streaming that same window out over NDI and Spout
(Syphon on macOS); both ship switched on, under the sender names on the
component's parameters.
Which window it drives is the Perform parameter of the button itself
(button_perform, parent shortcut Main). That is what the drop writes
through, so pointing it at another Window COMP takes effect on the next drop
with nothing to re-install.
Parameters
Its Registry page comes from FNS_ConfigRegistry and FNS_ToolbarRegistry.
Custom
| Control | Type / default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Perform WindowPerformwindow |
operator/perform | The Window COMP these tools drive. Dropping an operator on the toolbar button sets that window's Window Operator, and the streaming switches below follow the same window. |
Spout ActiveSpoutactive |
on / offon | Stream the perform window to other applications on this machine over Spout (Windows) or Syphon (macOS). |
Sender NameSendername |
textTDSyphonSpoutOut | The name other applications see this Spout/Syphon stream under. Change it when two TouchDesigner instances would otherwise publish the same name. |
NDI ActiveNdiactive |
on / offon | Stream the perform window over NDI, so machines on the same network can receive it. |
NDI Source NameName |
textTouchDesigner | The NDI source name this machine publishes. It is what receivers pick from their source list, so make it identifiable when several machines are streaming. |
